Murthly Castle along with its walled garden and chapel gives you true exclusivity with an understated style that is hard to beat.

I photographed the owner’s wedding here and know how much he wants his clients to enjoy what his property can offer.  Restricting the number of weddings to a dozen a year means that he can look after each one on a more personal level and still retain the privacy of his home.

The setting is breathtaking and provides endless opportunities for pictures.  Have your portraits taken surrounded by hundred foot pine trees while you breathe in the tranquillity around you. Wedding groups can be photographed in the walled garden on stone steps with balustrades, or by the elegant summerhouse.

The chapel of St Anthony the Eremite is particularly spectacular with its colourful interior and the pink gravel avenue, which leads back to the castle. It’s ideal for a wedding procession after the ceremony.
