Blair Castle is a wonderful venue because it has such a variety of options for weddings both inside and out.  No matter what the weather does there are always places to take beautiful photographs.

The splendid Victorian Ballroom has been the setting of many ceremonies, dinners and dances in the weddings I’ve photographed at Blair.  The walls are adorned with antlers, weaponry and large portraits of historical family members giving any visitor a feel for its rich history and Scottish traditions.  It’s large enough for weddings of over 200 people.

The elegant and romantic State Dining room can accommodate 120 guests for a wedding ceremony, 150 for a reception or up to 50 seated for a wedding breakfast.

The historic Library can accommodate up to 40 people for a ceremony

The ruin of St Bride’s Kirk dates back to Celtic times and with its open roof is a romantic setting for a wedding ceremony.  It can hold up to 70 guests.

The private West Lawn is an ideal venue for an outdoor wedding ceremony or drinks reception. This exclusive garden boasts unrivalled views across Highland Perthshire.
